This particular release is all instrumental. It was recorded with a Casio keyboard during a deep quarantine daze at the venue formerly known as Sicily's. While recording I placed a microphone against the north side window, capturing the outdoor sounds of the 28th & Greenmount block where house parties, birds chirping, car radios, children playing, and horns honking were common. I wanted to document the sounds that I heard during the two years I lived there.
The idea was inspired by Abbas Kiarostami's Koker trilogy, where the accidental experience of time and place are more prominent than the blueprints. No computers were used in the recording or mixing of this tape. I thank the Tascam 424.
